Very loooong session but very productive as well!
During the morning Juan re-recorded some bongos for Bossablues and Groove Island and also started recording the “cajon” for the Spanish Flamenco style track named Travesia!
After an also very Spanish lunch (bocadillo de chorizo, Ole!) I started recording the lead guitars for Bossablues and Groove Island plus another rhythm guitars. Lot of takes and hours but finally everything is there! Already 2 songs are complete!
I must say that recording the acoustic guitar with 3 different mics on 3 different tracks is amazing, you can hear everything on the recording, all the small details! It’s just great!
Well, that’s all for now!
Next session is booked in a couple of days and we should finish Travesia... hopefully!
And remember to KEEP ROCKING!
pd: Better photos coming soon!!!

I’m heading to the studio just with Antonio today. Our mission: Record as much as possible of Travesia! I started with the bass and carried on with the guitars until all of it was complete! Nice achievement! I’m very pleased with the result as I strongly believe Travesia will be one of the more successful tunes in the album! |
